CHILD SAFETY

Our Club is a Child Safe Organisation. We commit to providing a safe environment for children in netball and we follow the principles and benchmarks Netball Victoria has in place.

Our Club agrees to comply with the Child Safety Standards through the Child Safety in Netball Code of Conduct and the Child Safety in Netball Policy.

 

All OLNC Committee members and Coaches have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and the Committee ensures that all registrations remain up-to-date.

 

As part of this commitment, we ask all players, parents, coaches and team managers to ensure that all team management communication tools remain respectful, safe and relevant to team information and conversations only. Coaches & Team Managers are welcome to create chat groups & platforms that allow for easier communication amongst the team and refrain from any direct or private messaging to players/children.
