OUR VALUES

OUR VISION 

To provide an all-inclusive, safe, positive and quality environment for all participants, members, volunteers, and spectators. We encourage participation and enjoyment of netball within these environments.

To create the opportunity for OLNC players, umpires and coaches to participate in netball, via the support of a strong and transparent committee of management.

AIMS AND VALUES

Specifically, the Club aims to:

· encourage players to represent the Club with sportsmanship, respect, fairness, inclusiveness, commitment and pride;

· encourage and promote netball within our school and wider community;

· encourage participation and enjoyment of netball as a means of improving health, fitness, quality of life and facilitate the creation of enduring friendships;

· support all players, coaches, umpires, volunteers and administrators to achieve their full potential;

· encourage players to learn in a team environment including skills of mutual support, team cohesion, cooperation and effort to achieve a common goal;

· foster a supportive community;

· have regard to public interest and the local environment in all aspects of operation;

· to ensure the Club follows all government health advise and operate under the current and future health restrictions.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land now known as Ringwood, where our netball club is based. 

 

We acknowledge and respect their unique ability to care for Country and their deep spiritual connection to it. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
